About First Choice FCU

First Choice Federal Credit Union, formerly known as the B&O New Castle Employees Federal Credit Union, was originally chartered in 1952. Our first home was a basement office. In 1991, we moved into our own building centrally located in downtown New Castle. Our new home located at 2209 West State Street on route 224, 1 mile from Wal-Mart, will service our needs for generations to come.

With an expansion of our charter, we are now able to take in anyone who lives, works, or worships in Lawrence County.

We are a progressively managed credit union with our members’ interests at heart. We believe that the slogan, “People helping people” is more than lip service. We strive to meet our members’ needs daily.

We constantly monitor our local markets to make sure we are competitive in both savings and loan rates.

It is our desire to become a full service credit union. We plan on being here to service our children’s children.
